While we now know that Jill Biden was there for the Olympics, the photo revealed that she was in Paris without public notice.

The US Secret Service told the French publication that it did not believe the leaks compromised the protection of the president and others affected. It also said staff are prohibited from using personal electronic devices such as mobile phones during protective duties, but their use is permitted when off duty.

“The affected personnel have been notified. “We will review this information to determine if additional training or guidance is required,” the USSS said.

“We do not assess that there has been any impact on protection operations or threats to any protected person,” adding that locations are “revealed periodically as part of public programming.”

Likewise, Macron’s office said that the impact of the leaks was “very slight and in no way affects the security of the president of the republic.”

Despite this, he said the agent’s chief of staff told them not to use Strava.
