“Deloitte is pleased to support the establishment of the Australian Global Space ISAC Centre, as it provides an opportunity for the Australian space ecosystem to work together with global stakeholders to address these types of issues, inform new emerging space cyber standards and enter to global supply chains. .”
Erin Miller, chief executive of Space ISAC, said the creation of the Australia Global Hub “drives threat sharing and operational collaboration into a new moment where collective defense means aligning the global public and private space sectors to improve the overall resilience of the space industry.”
Matt Opie, chief executive of Defense SA and the South Australian Space Industry Center (SASIC), said the creation of the center is a win for South Australia.
“We welcome the opportunity for South Australia to take the lead in supporting this initiative. Partnerships between industry, government and academia will be critical to addressing pressing challenges in space and cyber,” Opie said.
“Being part of the Space ISAC is an important step that will drive global cooperation and coordination to support a secure future for Australian space missions and services.”
