Rubrik launches data security posture management for Microsoft 365 Copilot
Rubrik, a US cloud data management and security company, has announced the launch of new capabilities to help Microsoft 365 Copilot users reduce the risk of threat actors accessing and exfiltrating their sensitive data.
The company today (October 16) announced Rubrik Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) for Microsoft 365 Copilot, a new tool that allows users to use the AI-powered assistant without the risk of exposing sensitive data.

Rubrik DSPM gives users the tools to ensure that sensitive data has the correct access permissions and is properly classified, labeled, and segmented to ensure it is only seen by those whom the company intends to see.
The DSPM will identify missing or inaccurately labeled data and fix the problems, preventing unauthorized users from accessing it. Additionally, it will detect files with sensitive content that are accessible to the entire organization or the public and notify the organization so that access permissions can be corrected.
