Rubrik and Microsoft partner to boost Azure cyber resilience
Rubrik’s new resilience solution will bring cyber recovery capabilities to Microsoft Azure Blob Storage.
Rubrik, the zero-trust cybersecurity company, has announced a new partnership with Microsoft to provide Microsoft Azure Blob Storage customers with greater cyber resilience.
New services for Microsoft Azure Blob Storage include the ability to discover and classify data without it leaving the storage environment and monitor the security status of that data.
Rubrik’s new services also offer continuous monitoring of sensitive data and the ability to detect and reduce redundant data and therefore cloud costs. Customers can also recover the most recent, clean copy of data through a variety of quick recovery options.
“Rubrik Zero Labs recently discovered that 70 percent of all observed Rubrik data in a cloud environment is object storage, which potentially has much lower security coverage compared to on-premises and SaaS data,” said Anneka Gupta , product director at Rubrik. in a statement.
“The most striking thing is that it is estimated that almost 90 percent of this data is text files or semi-structured files, which represent types of data that can vary in terms of their machine readability or their coverage by leading security technologies and services. .
