Pro-Palestinian hacktivists claim cyber attacks against Israeli politicians
A pro-Palestinian hacking group has claimed to have extracted data from several Israeli politicians.
The hacktivist group Handala Hack posted on its website on September 26 claiming to have two password-protected files containing more than 60,000 secret emails belonging to Gabriel “Gabi” Ashkenazi, former Israeli foreign minister and former chief of the General Staff of the Defense of Israel. Along with the list, the threat group posted a series of private photos of Ashkenazi to support their claims.
The leak comes just days after the group claimed to have emails belonging to former Israeli defense minister and retired army general Benny Gantz.

The next day, Handala published another file that it claims contains 2,000 of Gantz’s photographs.
