Mercury Announces Launch of Research Services to Empower Cyber Professionals
Australian cyber consulting organization Mercury Information Security Services (Mercury) has launched investigative services, leading the fight against growing and evolving cyber security concerns.
The company announced the new venture on Nov. 1 and said the expansion of its services is designed to help advance the “state of cybersecurity and defense.”
“The research services have taken 18 months to develop. “We had seen a need in the market for greater depth and contextual knowledge across a number of our services,” said Mercury director Edward Farrell.
“Our team has taken time and care to build and develop significant capability. Our vision is that the activities carried out by research services foster trust in technologies and domains that require a higher degree of security.”
Starting as a group of Australian pentesters in 2015, Mercury has established itself as an industry thought leader and continues to expand its offering to adapt to the changing nature of cybersecurity and the advancement of major threats.
The new research offering will be showcased at IndoPac 2023, focusing on six key principles.
- Cyber Security Testing and Assessment
- Definition of requirements and characterization.
- Vulnerability research and exploit development.
- Adversarial simulation
- Support for sustainment activities.
- Evaluation and assurance of support systems.
