Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, yesterday announced its new platform called Binance Alpha to promote early-stage altcoin projects.
Today the first five altcoins selected for the Binance Alpha platform were announced.
Consequently, Binance Alpha announced the first group of projects such as KOMA, Cheems, APX, ai16z, and AIXBT.
While Binance Alpha is considered the shortlisted pool for Binance listings, it has also been noted that listing an altcoin here does not guarantee that it will be listed.
Binance announced that it will launch the second batch of altcoins for Binance Alpha in about two hours, with 3 of them on Ethereum, 1 on the BNB chain, and the last one on Solana.
Following Binance’s announcement, there were significant increases in altcoin prices.
