Australian company Orro announces partnership with SentinelOne

SentinelOne’s “AI-powered experience” will power Orro’s new extended detection and response solution.

Australian digital infrastructure provider Orro has announced a new partnership with global security company SentinelOne and a new extended detection and response (XDR) solution.

Orro’s new XDR platform will use SentinelOne’s AI-powered Singularity Data Lake security solution, which is an autonomous and centralized intelligence platform.

This will provide “actionable intelligence” that combines with Orro’s own incident monitoring and response capabilities to provide a comprehensive service.

According to Orro, this is the first XDR product in Australia to offer localization and data sovereignty. Orro XDR also has IRAP accreditation and an AWS point of presence in Sydney, with its own cluster isolated from the rest of the SentinelOne infrastructure.

Daniel Greengarten, CEO of Orro, says the product is timely.

“As we continue to see an escalation of cyber threats, it is important to have a sovereign capability to protect our customers’ organizations,” Greengarten said in a statement.

“Through our partnership with SentinelOne, our XDR solution directly addresses the needs of small and medium-sized businesses, which are more exposed to cyber risks than ever, while addressing key national cybersecurity concerns as outlined in recent ASD Cyber Threat Report.”
